The Gender Women and Sexuality Studies Department (GWSS) could not be more proud to announce and celebrate Mina Tari, one of this year’s Husky 100 Recipients. Each year, the Husky 100 recognizes 100 UW undergraduate and graduate students form all three UW campuses in all areas of study who are making the most of their time here at UW. There are few UW students who could possibly represent this ideal better than Mina Tari. Mina is a GWSS and Informatics Double Degree student. Mina’s work brings the important skills she is developing in Informatics into conversation with the cultural critical theory in GWSS. But Mina does not stop there, she is also graduating with Interdisciplinary Honors and has interned with a local computer camp for kids. Join us in congratulating one of UW’s shining starts. We cannot wait to see all the places she will go.
