GWSS Graduate Student, alma khasawnih, Ph.C. has received the Simpson Center for the Humanities Fellowship for the Reimagining the Humanities Ph.D. and Reaching New Publics program. The fellowship is supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. 

The Department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies' Chair, Priti Ramamurthy and alma's advisor Associate Professor Sasha Welland wholeheartedly put forth alma's nomination for this innovative fellowship offered by the Walter Chapin Simpson Center for the Humanities.
