Self-Preservation Workshop with GWSS Graduate Student Fabian Romero

fabian romero, second-year GWSS P.h.D. student will be facilitating a Self-Preservation Workshop on Saturday, March 31 from 1-4pm. This 3-hour workshop will provide participants with a Self-Preservation Zine workbook. This workbook and workshop will enable participants to practice inward reflection on our relationships to power hierarchies and how we can utilize this knowledge to build greater self-preservation strategies.

FRIDAY will be the Viva La Joteria Conference from 2-5 where we will have a keynote speaker, dinner and a photoshoot for folks. and then we will head over to the Quincenerex from 6:30-8:30 pm 

SATURDAY is where the forces of API Chaya, Alphabet Alliance of Color and the Viva La Joteria Conference have brought to you a day for Queer and Trans Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of Color to celebrate the beauty of our existence, share and document our stories for collective healing! There will be story rooms, workshops a clothing swap, spiritual cleansing, tattoo and life coach consults, massage, acupuncture, reiki, tarot readings, vendors, a photo booth, food and more!
