Yecelica (aka YJV) is Co-Director at the Seattle Young People's Project.

Bio:

Yecelica, who also goes by YJV, grew-up in Central Washington in the Yakima Valley. They're a child of a Mexican immigrant father and a mixed race mother from working class roots. They identify as a mixed race, gender-non-conforming, fat brown boi among many things. Their background is in community and youth organizing and anti-racism work. They're committed to supporting and learning with youth of color in their power, to defy, to define, and grow who they are and who they want to become.
