Jey Saung, Ph.C. received the Marie Doman Award for Excellence in Teaching for 2018. The award was presented to Jey by Marie Doman and Professor Cricket Keating at the 2018 GWSS Fall Reception.

Jey has taught courses at the University of Washington for the Department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, Comparative History of Ideas (CHID), and English. In fact, Jey received CHID's Collaborative Learning and Interdisciplinary Pedagogy (CLIP) Fellowship for the 2017-2018 academic year.
