GWSS graduate student, Mediha Sorma, received the Graduate School Chester Fritz International Research and Study Fellowship to support her work on "Militant Mothers of the Kurdish Resistance: Statelessness, Mothering and Subaltern Politics in the Contemporary Turkish Nation State. Mediha will doing her field work in Istanbul during autumn quarter.
