Congratulations to Saad Khan on the publication of "Experiencing shame: An affective reading of the sexual and reproductive health and rights classroom in Bangladesh," recently published in Sex Education on Jan 11, 2020. Saad co-authored it with their colleagues in Bangladesh and the Netherlands. "The paper, based on the findings of the project called 'Breaking the shame' that we conducted from 2016-2018, is about teachers teaching sexual and reproductive health and rights education to adolescents in Bangladeshi schools, and their experiences of shame. We write about the need to have a contextual reading of shame, and say that teachers' shame should not be seen as a pedagogical failure."
