Please join us in congratulating GWSS Ph.D. candidate, Jey Saung, for receiving a 2022-2023 Graduate School Presidential Dissertation Fellowship for their dissertation-in-process “Speculative Kinships: The Use of Biomedical Technologies in Queer Family-Making.” As quoted from Chandan Reddy, co-chair of Jey's dissertation committee, "Jey’s richly provocative dissertation abstract and strong proposal earned them one of these very competitive Presidential fellowships."
