After a historical and troubling Supreme Court ruling that overturned a woman's constitutional right to an abortion today, Professor Betting Judd spoke with UW News to discuss the disproportionate impact this decision will have on "poor women, women of color, women who are immigrants or who are under surveillance by the carceral state — those who are, in general, just a little more vulnerable to the state," and to recognize that this is only one battle, albeit a significant one, within the larger fight for reproductive justice in the United States.
