GWSS Graduate Students Awarded Human Rights Funds

The Department of Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies celebrates the remarkable achievements of two graduate students who have recently been awarded prestigious human rights funds.

Marielle Marcaida has been granted $5000 from the Peter Mack and Jamie Mayerfeld Endowed Fund for Human Rights, and $3,482 from the SEAREG Pre-Dissertation Fellowship of Duke. Saad Khan, has been recognized with the Dr. Lisa Sable Brown Endowed Fund for Human Rights.
