On November 21, GWSS hosted Dr. Barbara Boswell, Associate Professor of English Literary Studies at the University of Cape Town, for a lecture on Black feminist epistemic justice in post-apartheid South Africa. The talk explored how Black women’s literature has become a powerful tool for reconstituting political discourse and addressing the historical erasure of Black cultures.

Student journalist Ella Goulet attended the lecture and wrote a compelling article titled "Barbara Boswell presents lecture on Black feminist epistemic justice in post-apartheid South Africa," which covers the key themes and insights from Dr. Boswell’s presentation.
