Lou Chow named to 2025 Husky 100

We're proud to share that Lou Chow has been selected as one of this year’s Husky 100, a prestigious recognition awarded to University of Washington students who are making a lasting impact through their academic work, leadership, and community engagement.

Lou’s work at the intersection of Dance and Gender, Women, Sexuality Studies reflects a deep commitment to embodied knowledge and cultural translation. Through movement, visual art, writing, and care-centered research, Lou builds space for Queer and BIPOC communities to connect, create, and thrive. They are especially passionate about making the arts more accessible and responsive to the needs of their local communities.

The Husky 100 celebrates students who bridge classroom learning with real-world change—and Lou’s work exemplifies exactly that. Congratulations, Lou!
