Royalti is a second-year Ph.D. student in the GWSS Department at the University of Washington. Her research on erotic sovereignty explores the future-oriented, feminist world-building potential of Black women sex workers. Currently, she is examining how Afrofuturism can be applied as an onto-epistemological tool and ethical premise to conceive of and imagine erotic sovereignty.
