GWSS doctoral candidate, Akanksha Misra, has accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor with the Gender and Women's Studies Department at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Akanksha will be starting the position in September 2020. She is currently wrapping up work on her dissertation The Erotics of Pedagogical Spaces: Schools, Sexuality, and the Desiring Body in India and Turkey.
