Ramon Johnson, a graduate student in the Department of Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies, will be speaking on Saturday, November 12 at this year's National HBCU Leadership Summit at the Human Rights Campaign. In it's 16th year, the National HBCU Leadership Summit is the only summit designed to specifically engage students who are both Black and LGBTQ, and it does so with the goal of empowering LGBTQ HBCU students to become leaders on their campuses, in their communities, and in the world. Ramon will be speaking on the LGBTQ+ Presidents Panel and will be sharing his research and organizing experiences with current HBCU campus stakeholders and LGBTQ students.
