I need feminism because I insist on embracing the full extent of my intellect so that I may be an effective part of progress.

I need feminism because poverty rates are highest for families headed by single mothers.

I need feminism because calling me a "perfect bitch" is not a complement.

I need feminism because in a fluid culture of disposability...there needs to be something concrete!

I need feminism because equality still doesn't exist in the 21st century.

I need feminism because after 4 years of college I will make as much as a man with "some college" or no degree.

I need feminism because: I have the right to determine if when I have a child.

I need feminism because I want my little boys to know that boys and girls should be treated equally and fairly, regardless of their differences.

I need feminism because without it, I would not have this opportunity to be in control of my education, my body, or my future.

I need feminism because I want to make just as much as a man can

Who Needs Feminism? Campaign. Introduction to Women Studies students. Summer 2012.

Undergraduates enrolled in Introduction to Women Studies during the 2012 Summer Quarter participated in the Who Needs Feminism? Campaign, which began at Duke University. This campaign aims to challenge existing stereotypes surrounding feminists and assert the importance of feminism today.
