The Department of Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies is delighted to announce three of our graduate students recently successfully defended their dissertations:

  • Dr. Bobbi Kindred defended their dissertation titled "Rethinking Recovery: Reconciliation and Searching for Our Mother" on May 28, 2024.

  • Dr. Angelica Macklin defended her dissertation titled "Storytending is a Verb! Activating Participatory Feminist Media Praxis Through Womxn Who Rock: Making Scenes, Building Communities" on June 4, 2024.

  • Dr. Christina Yuen Zi Chung defended her dissertation titled "At the Seams of the World: Gender and Decoloniality in Hong Kong Contemporary Art" on June 5, 2024.
